Beautiful table

This table arrived fully assembled. Both sides of the table fold down and the middle section is approx six inches wide. The wood is beautiful and there was no damage at all as other reviewers reported. It was packed very well, in both cardboard as well as wood particle board. My only small complaint is that it does seem to be a bit off balance. I placed a folded napkin underneath one of the legs and that kept it from rocking. Also, it would be nice to be able to "lock" the 2 adjustable legs into place, these are what hold up the flaps. If a diner knocks the leg with his or her knee, the whole flap could come down; dinner and all.

great patio table!

This double-gateleg table is made of weather-resistant wood, and can be used closed, half-open, or open. I originally got it to replace a storm-broken glass-top dining table, but it is a little too high for the chairs that went with the glass table. I now have it half-open next to my BBQ, where its height is perfect, and it's great having the extra work space.

Received the table exactly when expected. Amazon Prime rocks! The table was well packaged and we didn't notice any damage upon unpacking. It's a gorgeous table and exactly what we wanted. After using the table a couple of times, it developed a large crack at one of the joints where the wood was seemed together. It also cracked lengthwise radiating outward from the hole drilled in the middle for an umbrella. We we're totally bummed. Called Amazon.com and told them about the problem. They sent a new table out the next day, no charge and had the old one picked up by UPS. The new table is perfect. We're treating it with weather proofing, just to make sure it stays as pretty as it is now. Definitely worth the price, especially with Amazon's great customer service to back it up.

high quality and great buy

I love his drop leaf table that looks beautiful in my small kitchen. It is well built and should last for many years! Right now I have it completly open, and there is room for four chairs. Fortunately, I had some expert help putting it together, and that did take awhile, but well worth the time and effort. I would highly recommend it!

This package was a little late getting to my house(2days late). The table and chairs were very well packed,some would even call it overkill but it protected the table and chairs. The assembly took awhile but the instruction were clear enough. After almost 2 hours I was done. The result was worth the effort. I love the set . It is well made of beautiful wood and the color matched the advertising.If you are looking for a small ,but elegant dining set this is for you. This was another good purchase from my favorite retailer Amazon.com

Easy to install and easy on the eye, but a health warning

I have one of the older apartments with a small dinning room connected to the kitchen, not really enough space for any sort of fancy set up. At 42 inches diameter, I hoped this guy would be a perfect fit and I'm glad I wasn't mistaken at the least.The Installation:I found this to be the enjoyable, quick, and simple. With 3 diagrammed steps, I could not have asked for an easier set up. Now I will admit I have a socket wrench I got from Home Depot that allows for access to tight spots and locks in certain motions, allowing for a pendulum type tightening while preventing loosening upon opposite motion, I really recommend them. Although it likely just saved me around 5-10 minutes. It was quick and the whole thing took me around 30 to 45 minutes to set up. Very minimal amount of pieces too, which was another plus.The Warning:Although this is honestly an amazing product, there was a formaldehyde phase 2 California complaint sticker (marked December 2011 for Thiet Dan Company) on one of the parts. I did a bit of research on this compound, aside from remembering it in a Biology lesson, and it seems like it's somewhat common, but it is identified as a possible carcinogen (potentially cancer causing). So if you have a small child or if you're particular about health, you might want to do some research as to whether or not it's a risk you'd like to take.

The table arrived nicely packaged.The wood is nicely finished and was easy to put together.The soft cherry color is close to the photo,but is a little more redish.The small adjustments on the feet made it sit firmlyon my uneven tile floor.The dropleaf makes it fit nicely in my small space.It is easily enlarged for the rare times I have company.I use it all day, every day.

Great Table!

I recently purchased this table to use in my kitchen and I love it! I live in a downtown historic area of a major city and the kitchens tend to be small in historic properties. I needed a drop leaf table that would not take up a great deal of space for daily use yet could be expanded for guests. When the leaves are folded down I use two chairs and when I have the leaves extended I use four chairs. This tables seats four people generously. It was very easy to put together using the tools and instructions provided. I purchased the cherry color and the finish on the wood is also excellent. This table is made of hard wood not plywood or pressed board. I'm very happy with my table!

Great Table, Easy to Finish

I couldn't find many options for a round, pedestal dining room table less than 42 inches, and was happy to find this one. I have never finished any furniture before, but it is in ready-to-finish condition when shipped. I did no sanding prior to the stain and polyurethane (minwax products, natural color) and the finish came out great. The leaves seem a little useless, only change the size by a couple of inches, but overall very happy with the product. No reason to shy away from the unfinished wood project.

Needed a small table and needed it to go big when I need to. This is the perficet table if you are looking for a small table to give you room when not needed, but can go big if you do need it. The wood is great and it comes sanded very good, smooth. Need to do your own finish as in color or stane. This table was easy to put together with all the parts. I give this a 5 stare.

What a Great Table!

Anyone having a 5th wheel or travel trailer can always use another flat surface for their laptop, television, hobby, "stuff." For that matter, an additional work space that will gladly free up the dinding table for ... dining. The size was just right, in my case, to hold a large, heavy 17" laptop, mouse pad, coffee cup, external drive, and heavy pro DSLR camera/lens for downloading photos from camera to laptop. More than sturdy enough to bear the weight of everything without any signs of stress on the thick top wood surface or the supporting members attached to the back of a seat bench for the dining table. When the 5th wheel was in motion, we either left the table in the upright or down position. Didn't matter as both positions rode perfectly. Highly recommend this folding table ... for home, or on the road.

Nice looking table

I purchased this table a few months ago. It's is a nice looking casual table that was easy to put together. I don't use the drop leaf because it's small enough for my area. The color is actually lighter than what the picture looks like but it's still a nice dark color. It's big enough to seat four people around it. I use it in my breakfast nook area along with a pair of Jofran chairs pictured with the table - The chairs were purchased separately. Any type of dark wood chairs would look nice with the table. It doesn't take up much space and definitely worth buying.

Wonderful table

This table is really well built and heavy. It is 36" X 22" opened out which was not made clean in the company's write up. nice, inexpensive little table

This table is nice and quite sturdy; the leaves work well and it was easy to assemble. My only complaint would be that you can't fit a standard chair in between the legs on the sides without the leaves - the legs are too close together.

solid folding table

I love that the table is so solid and made from real wood, not pressed particle board. The ony assembly required was putting the legs on, which was very easy. We are using it as a side table in the dining room, and then moving it to the end of the dining room for a little mini table extension if we have large holiday meals. Overall, very pleased with the quality at a fair price.

Well engineered. Easy to assemble. All parts included plus two extra screws. Highly recommended. You can't buy the lumber for this price. All parts solid wood, no fibre board or cheap panels. The quality of the wood is high grade, great grain, and durable finish.

Great table for price

My daughter has a small kitchen and limited counter space. This set fits perfectly in her kitchen and the kids love pulling out the bar stools and sitting at the table to eat their breakfast or do their homework. Mom can use it for extra counter top or because it is on wheels easily move it to the dining room where it could be used as a buffet when she has extra guests. This is the second table of this kind I have purchased as I have one for myself and sent one to NY for my daughter.Assembly takes about an hour, and both of us GIRLS put it together with no problems. Has light blond colored wood and 2 little drawers and a towel bar. With light sanding it could be painted if color was not to your liking. Open it is a 30 x 30 table ( I am a sewer so I use it alot for cutting out fabric) and closed it fits nicely up to the wall as a 15 x 30 buffet. Company was quick to deliver and answered emails promptly when an inquiry was made.Very pleased and would by from this company again.

Good for the Price

This is a pretty nice breakfast bar. I got it on sale and it was shipped from amazon right away. Assembling it was a pain but it wasn't overly complicated. The worst part about assembling it was using the tiny glue bottle. Also, the little stoppers that you are supposed to put on the side of the drawers (so they don't fall out) don't really stay in place. The screw-hole covers don't like to stay on either, but that's to be expected. All in all, once it was assembled it looks very cute and compact. I like how it has wheels so I can easily convert it from the small breakfast bar to the drop-leaf table.
