Nice chairs for the price

The fabric on the seat is too thin for my taste and I don't think there is any scotchguard or stain protection on the seat cushion. Some of the slats don't seem sturdy enough when you touch them - They wiggle alittle. I received the chairs with a couple of scratches on them but I didn't want to return them because of a few scratches. The chairs look good with the Jofran Double Drop Leaf Dining Table in Dark Chianti finish which I also purchased. Overall, the chairs look great for the price I paid. I purchased them about three months ago and they're holding up well. The pair of chairs are worth buying if you're looking for a casual look. I use them in my breakfast nook area and handle them with care. If you have little kids, the fabric might not be durable enough because of the color and lightweight fabric.

So nicely made we ordered a second one!!!

We replaced a cheaply made island that was table height (who does that?). This package arrived on time and with complete instructions. (After we ordered the first unit I saw a negative comment about this same item not having instructions,etc., so we were really apprehensive. For no reason, it turns out. Ours came with complete instructions.The wood is an oiled finish that we were going to paint but we like the natural look so well, we're not going to paint it black. One caveat though. This unit is rather shallow... this is why we ordered a second unit. I think the finished measurement is 16" deep and we needed at least 30" deep, so two units back to back will work very, very nicely. (Thanks for the free shipping Amazon!)Also the drawers OPEN full length. WONDERFUL. Yes, we like this unit a lot.

It was exactly what I was looking for.

It looks great in our kitchen and is very functional. The bottom drawer is not as deep as it looks. The face is high but the drawer sides and back are half that height. I think it was made for blenders, mixers, etc that are tall but don't need the sides to keep them in. I stacked towels in it and put some spices down there that I regularly use. It works just fine and nothing falls over the sides. I love it!!!!

Dissappointed by the change in the product

I bought this house for my 2-year-old son. I love the design and the features. What really made up my mind about buying this expensive toy is the secret passage inside that many reviewers pointed out.I cannot even describe how dissappointed I was to find no passage in the house when it was delivered.I contacted Step 2 and they sent a standard reply about some safety standards due to which the passage was eliminated.I just read your Amazon discription and it still states that there is a secret passage in this house.Sending my house back is out of the question. Shipping a huge item like that will cost almost as much as the house itself.I just don't understand why manufacturers cannot list all the changes to their products, so that the consumers were aware of what they are buying.

Well Loved Charming Cottage Playhouse for Kids!

We've had this playhouse for four years and it has been played with almost everyday and still looks new. Kids are now aged 4 to 9, and they all still love it. This is a nice little 2 chair dinette set perfect for a breakfast nook, small apartment, or if you are like me and tend to move a lot, for easy moves. It's a "leaf" table on two sides enabling the table to be shortened in diameter making it easier to fit thru doorways, but the diameter is already only 36 inches. The set is not as brightly colored in an overly white-beige tone as it appears in the photo, but rather a more wood tone, which worked better for me and was a better match for my wood floors. It is tightly packed in a slim box, the thin sheet of styrofoam protecting it will break into many little pieces making a mess on your floor. It has to be fully assembled, the legs are easy to place on the top, a little wrench is included to tighten it. For the chairs, the first takes about 20 minutes, the second, after learning the first, takes only about 15 minutes and an alan wrench is included to tighten the chairs. The only tool needed is a phillip's screwdriver to fasten the seat top onto the chairs which is quite easy. Overall, a nice solid wood table, heavy in quality, and though the chairs don't seem to be as heavy in quality as the table top, they turned out to be sturdy. A very nice set, I'm glad I decided on this one.

All sawdust, shavings and waste materials generated during the manufacturing process is converted into wood pellet fuel, and used to heat homes. This cart comes with a drop leaf that doubles the work surface and has a very large drawer. It comes with a spice rack and a towel bar. The interior shelves are adjustable and the wheels are locking caster. The hardware is nickel plated and the wood is oiled finished. It is made from sustainably harvested domestic hardwood, is ready to assemble and is made in the USA.

Very good cabinet

My wife and I were looking to replace a fixed counter top along one wall of our kitchen. We also wanted an island that could be used when cooking for guests, but our kitchen is too small. This cabinet fits the bill. We removed the fixed counter top and this takes its place. When cooking large meals, it rolls closer to our food prep area and provides more counter space. When the meal is ready, it rolls into the dining room and becomes a serving cart. Some things that used to take up counter space are now stored inside the cart. The instructions are good and easy to follow. I put the cart together in about an hour. However, I would recommend having someone to help, certain steps are hard to do with just two hands. I finished the cabinet with three coats of polyurethane. I gave the cart 4 stars because one of the casters will fall out if you lift the end up. This is a minor detail, but it means it is not perfect.
