Defective but Beautiful!

The desk is beautiful however, the bottom drawer did not slide in. My husband had to fix the runners. They had to be glued on and new screws put in. On one leg the threads on the nut were stripped out so he had to put a new nut on the top. If he wasn't so talented it would have had to been returned. It is very small and fits perfectly where I wanted to put it but for almost $400 I would expected much better quality workmanship.

very nice little desk

I bought for a tight spot, it worked out great. Very nice little piece for the price. fully assembled, just had to add the feet. Holds about twenty hanging file folders.

I am satisfied with this purchase.The drop front portion of the desk has nice, sturdy structure. The wooden organizer that fits inside it is a little on the poorly constructed side but it does its job and isn't in plain sight.The desk has better craftsmanship than I thought I would get for the money. It fit very well into a shallow indention in the wall at the foot of my stairs and has really beautified a stark, lifeless area in my home.I had to add the feet to the desk. They simply screw on, not a big deal in the slightest.The bottom draw is generous in size and will hold quite a few hanging file folders. I bought this to put all our stray documents in to clear the clutter from out home. It not only serves the purpose well but has gotten me several compliments.
