Easy to install and easy on the eye, but a health warning

I have one of the older apartments with a small dinning room connected to the kitchen, not really enough space for any sort of fancy set up. At 42 inches diameter, I hoped this guy would be a perfect fit and I'm glad I wasn't mistaken at the least.The Installation:I found this to be the enjoyable, quick, and simple. With 3 diagrammed steps, I could not have asked for an easier set up. Now I will admit I have a socket wrench I got from Home Depot that allows for access to tight spots and locks in certain motions, allowing for a pendulum type tightening while preventing loosening upon opposite motion, I really recommend them. Although it likely just saved me around 5-10 minutes. It was quick and the whole thing took me around 30 to 45 minutes to set up. Very minimal amount of pieces too, which was another plus.The Warning:Although this is honestly an amazing product, there was a formaldehyde phase 2 California complaint sticker (marked December 2011 for Thiet Dan Company) on one of the parts. I did a bit of research on this compound, aside from remembering it in a Biology lesson, and it seems like it's somewhat common, but it is identified as a possible carcinogen (potentially cancer causing). So if you have a small child or if you're particular about health, you might want to do some research as to whether or not it's a risk you'd like to take.

Great table

The table arrived nicely packaged.The wood is nicely finished and was easy to put together.The soft cherry color is close to the photo,but is a little more redish.The small adjustments on the feet made it sit firmlyon my uneven tile floor.The dropleaf makes it fit nicely in my small space.It is easily enlarged for the rare times I have company.I use it all day, every day.

I recently purchased this table to use in my kitchen and I love it! I live in a downtown historic area of a major city and the kitchens tend to be small in historic properties. I needed a drop leaf table that would not take up a great deal of space for daily use yet could be expanded for guests. When the leaves are folded down I use two chairs and when I have the leaves extended I use four chairs. This tables seats four people generously. It was very easy to put together using the tools and instructions provided. I purchased the cherry color and the finish on the wood is also excellent. This table is made of hard wood not plywood or pressed board. I'm very happy with my table!
