Product Description
Catskill Craftsmen has become the nation's leading manufacturer of ready-to-assemble domestic hardwood kitchen islands, carts, and work-centers. Catskill Craftsmen manufactured items are made from naturally self-sustaining, non-endangered North American hardwoods, primarily Northern Yellow Birch. Lumber is purchased from area sawmills, then dried, manufactured, and packaged on site. All sawdust, shavings and waste materials generated during the manufacturing process is converted into wood pellet fuel, and used to heat homes. This is the Grand-Daddy of workcenters. Features a 2 inch thick butcher block top with a bull nose edge and rounded corners. The top extends the depth by 10 inches, and the entire width of 36 inches when the drop leaf is up. The 9.5 inch deep drawer has full extension glides and a towel bar handle. Additional features include two towel bars, a slatted shelf, and locking caster wheels. This workcenter is made of solid Northeastern Hardwood and ships with an oil finish.

Absolutely fabulous workcenter!

I was surprised at how substantial this center is. It is very heavy duty.I love the drop leaf that provides extra work space. It is a very handsome unit and looks great in my kitchen. I purchased the one with the deep drawer instead of 2 shallower ones and I'm glad I did. I can actually store many baking utensils and even a recipe box in it. The bottom shelf serves for storing appliances that do not fit on my counters where space is at a premium. The wheels make it very convenient to just push the unit aside when necessary.Three towel bars are also a nice addition.I searched for almost a year for a butcher block unit and finally settled on this one. My research really paid off because this unit is "da bomb"!

I am extremely pleased with my workcenter. It's construction is of exceptional quality; the wood is beautiful, the cart is sturdy, the casters, leaf brackets and drawer hardware are rugged. My experience with Catskill Craftsmen customer service was courteous and prompt. With the proper required care on my end, I have no doubt this workcenter will last me decades. And it was made in the USA! I do recommend purchasing several bottles of Catskill Craftsmen butcher block oil right away. (It's available via an order form packaged with the workcenter.)

Great product, slow delivery

I love this cart. It is a beautiful addition to my kitchen. It is very sturdy and well put together. The drawer is nice and deep and I can fit all my large cooking utensils with more room for other things. The shelf on the bottom is the perfect place for my KitchenAid stand mixer and my large glass containers that have flour and sugar.I will say it was slow putting this product together. The instructions could use a bit more detail. But despite that, overall I'm very impressed and happy with it.I would have rated this all 5 stars if it hadn't taken so long to get this kitchen cart. My cart was furnished by Cymax and even though the Amazon site said they had some in stock it turned out they didn't. I waited 3 weeks to get this product. That was pretty disappointing.
