Why would anyone take iron pills when you can chew this awesome, yummy iron supplement? :)

I hate to take pills, and I am all for taking any supplement as long as it comes in an alternative form - chewable, gummy, etc. This is delicious chewable iron supplement, not really chalky. I look forward to taking it everyday. :)You take 1 tablet a day, and it has 27mg of iron (as amino acid chelate) which is 150% of daily value. It also comes with vitamin C 100mg (167%) which I wish it doesn't since I'm also taking multi-vitamin supplement.It is sweet - meaning sugar (1g).Other ingredients are: fructose, rose hips, beet, raspberry, stearic acid, and silica.

Due to health issues I can't digest the "normal" iron tablets. This is the best chewable iron I have tried. The cherry flavored tablets are so much better than other chewables - they really aren't bad at all. They digest easily...negative results you see from most iron as the "output".One down side is nausea if I don't take this with food - so recommend taking this with dinner or any other meal or heavy snack. As long as I eat it with food there is no nausea at all.

My son had to be on an iron regimen to increase his iron level. We tried liquid form & pill form. (He chewed the pill even though it was supposed to be swallowed.) It was a huge struggle that he stressed over. Finally, as a last resort, we tried this chewable form. He loved it! He said, "It tastes like bubblegum!" Now he takes his vitamins with ease.
